Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy is a supportive approach which enables us to meet life's challenges and to connect to our potential for wellness

You may be ready to explore the bigger questions around what you want from life and to get in touch with yourself and your values.  It might be that you are going through a major change in your life, or facing the impact of loss or of trauma. There may be feelings of anxiety and stress, or you may be experiencing prolonged periods of disconnection and isolation

However it is, I offer a non-judgemental space where every part of your experience is held in a safe and supportive environment.

I work with:

  • Anxiety

  • Bereavement

  • Depression

  • Family dynamics

  • Identity

  • Life Change

  • LGBTQ+

  • Neurodiversity

  • Parenting

  • Personal growth

  • Relationship difficulty

  • Sexuality

  • Spirituality

  • Trauma

I offer a free exploratory call via video call or telephone.

My approach is collaborative and mindfulness-based, which means that as well as exploring important past experiences, we also become curious about thoughts and feelings as they occur in the here and now.

Through becoming aware of our reactions to our experience and the patterns that take hold, we are able to have greater choice about the way we live, the types of relationships we form and the decisions we make - to allow us to grow and make the changes we seek.

Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy is grounded in Western psychodynamic theory and Buddhist psychology.  It is informed by contemplative neuroscience, attachment theory and the role of the nervous system in trauma and healing. It is part of the Humanistic and Integrative school of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) and it is a relational and person-centred approach.
